Burial Package (Adult Interment)

provided by DMP in association with Tygerberg Funeral Directors

The following package is designed for families who have just experienced the loss of a loved one through death and who are in need of an immediate dignified funeral for one adult person. All possible arrangements and services are provided through this burial package. The following is an itemised list of services and products included in the DMP Burial Package for an adult interment:

DMP services and products supplied:

Standard Adult Lawn Grave (provides for 2 adult interments stacked) within the DMP burial blocks
Open & Closing of Grave (first interment)
1 x Standard DMP Full Granite Tombstone + Burial Site ID
Inscription on Tombstone (Up to 100 letters included)
2 x Standard DMP Vase
Hall Hire for Wake Service (Hall #2 - large hall, can seat up to ~ 200 persons)

Tygerberg Funeral Directors services and products supplied:

Removal of Deceased within 25km radius from DMP (surcharge applicable for distances > 25km)
Storage of Deceased at Funeral Parlor
Preparation of Deceased for Burial
Registration of Death
Provision of standard flat lid coffin (maximum length 1.9m)
Provision of flower arrangement for coffin
100 x Service Programs inclusive of one photo of deceased
Hire of Hearse
Moving of Deceased from funeral parlor to church (if applicable) and to the Durbanville Memorial Park

Burial Package - Cost: R 27,050.00 (inclusive of all the above services, products and VAT)

Additional Options:

Inscription of additional letters over and above the 100 letters included:

Engraving of artwork, graphics, borders etc.:
+ R 270.00 incl. VAT / per artwork, graphic, border
Mounting of photos:
various printing & mounting options available; enquire with sales staff

Purchase 1 additional DMP Vase (2 DMP Vases provided as part of package):

Upgrade to include hire of multimedia projector system (excludes laptop):
+ R 250.00 incl. VAT
Change to a Combo Grave (LG007) set in the lawn burial blocks:
+ R 0.00 incl. VAT (= 1 x burial interment and 2 x ash interment in a lawn
Downgrade to a Single Grave (LG001) set in the lawn burial blocks:
- R 3400.00 incl. VAT (= 1 x burial interment in a lawn grave - see details on Single Grave under "Products" on this website)
Upgrade to a Family Estate 2 (EST002) set individually in park gardens:
+ R 53,350.00 incl. VAT (= 2 x grave in private estate - see details on Estates under "Products" on this website)
Upgrade to a Family Estate 4 (EST004) set individually in park gardens:
+ R 117,450.00 incl. VAT (= 4 x grave in private estate - see details on Estates under "Products" on this website)

The following options are provided for and need to be coordinated with Tygerberg Funeral Directors:

Upgrading to a different type and / or colour of coffin
Upgrading the flower arrangement / coffin spray
Arranging of following services:
- Placement of Death/Funeral Notice
- Minister
- Verger
- Organist/Pianist
- Catering
Any other special requirements that may be needed
